The Ruby in the Smoke

Mystery/thriller concerning a large ruby and how it connects with the life of a young woman trying to find her way in the world.

Different in that the heroine is intimately involved in the case and a scene stealing role for Julie Waters. Fails to grab though despite good work all round.
